The USA team headed by Coach Bob Bradley is fielding its best player against the 2014 World Cup host Brazil in the International Friendly Cup.
Last year, Brazil defeated the Americans with 3-2 score in their last match in the Confederation Cup semifinals in Johannesburg.
This time, new Brazilian coach Mano Menezes is bringing in just four players who played at the 2010 World Cup and these are Robinho, Ramires, Thiago Silva and Daniel Alves. (more…)

Seattle Seahawks agreed to terms with top pick Russel Okung of the Oklahoma State as reported by All Pro Sports and Entertainment on its twitter page.
This year’s sixth overall selection in the draft and Buffalo’s C.J.. Spiller were the last two first-round picks who were signed. Spiller also agreed to terms this Friday. (more…)

Javier Hernandez scored against his new team as Manchester United were beaten by Chivas Guadalajara on the final game of their North American tour. Hernandez played the first half for his old club and the second for his new side, and made an immediate impact as he netted after just eight minutes, to the delight of the crowd at the new Estadio Omnilife.
Chris Smalling, United’s other summer signing so far, levelled two minutes later but Adolfo Bautista restored the hosts’ lead after 38 minutes and Hector Reynoso made it 3-1 just before the hour mark, before Nani pulled one back in the 79th minute. (more…)

Sam Bradford, the No. 1 overall draft pick, agreed to a six-year, $78 million contract with the St. Louis Rams on Friday night with $50 million in guaranteed money considered to be the highest ever guaranteed money in the NFL.
The negotiations between the Rams and the former Oklahoma quarterback were concluded in time for the first full-squad workout set for Saturday. (more…)
