The eight-time major champion Rafael Nadal is seeking t o complete a career Grand Slam reached the third round at Flushing Meadows and Andy Murray’s quest for his first Grand Slam title moved a step closer to a US Open semi-final collision course with impressive triumphs.
The top seed and Spanish world number one is trying to become the seventh man to complete a career Grand Slam by winning his first US Open title. Nadal reach the third round for the sixth consecutive year, he has never made it to the final in the previous tournament. (more…)

Roger Federer will be meeting Andy Murray in the final of the Rogers Cup, 17th ATP World Tour Masters 1000 title at Toronto Canada. He wrestled the World No. 2 ranking from Novak Djokovic by beating Djokovic 6-1, 3-6, 7-5 in their Rogers Cup semifinal match.
In perhaps the strangest match on the ATP World Tour this season, Federer looked as though he would cruise into the final in less than an hour. Djokovic, who hit two winners to 16 unforced errors in the first set as a he blasted ground strokes far and wide, found himself staring defeat in the face at 2-6, 0-2 0/30 on his serve. (more…)

Andy Murray won a straight sets against Rafael Nadal in 6-3, 6-4 in their singles semifinals game in the Rogers Cup, ATP World Tour Masters 1000 at Toronto, Canada.
Defending Rogers Cup champion and World No. 4 Andy Murray posted his fifth career win over World No. 1 Rafael Nadal. Murray will attempt to become the first player to win back-to-back Canadian titles since Andre Agassi who won it in 1994 and 1995. (more…)

Jie Zheng of China eliminated 31st seed Alona Bondarenko in their fourth-round match at Hisense Arena on Sunday with a 7-6(5) 6-4 win.
