Chicago Bulls not so impressed with McGrady

Chicago Bulls are not sold out with Tracy McGrady and might not get the offer that he wants and expecting.

According to earlier statement to the reporters, McGrady spoke like he was already a part of the team. He was using the word “we” as he described the team’s future next season. The exact wordings that he mentioned was “I think we can be really good, I really do.”

In that statement, the Chicago Bulls are convinced that McGrady is not willing to play secondary role in the team which is one of the key requirements the former scoring champ must satisfy to be able to join Chicago including the issue on his physical conditioning. Apparently when asked about coming off the bench, McGrady seemed to suggest that he is expecting more time as a role player.

If ever the deal would push through, McGrady at 31, would be sixth acquisition of Chicago this offseason joining Carlos Boozer, Kyle Korver, Ronnie Brewer, C.J. Watson and Kurt Thomas.
