Tracy McGrady and Chicago Bulls are close to a deal. McGrady used to be Derick Rose’s favorite player and it come as no surprise that he wants the Chicago Bulls to sign the free agent guard/forward.
Rose even commented that McGrady would help the Bulls next season. He was quoted saying after Team USA’s final day of practice what he thinks of Bulls taking in McGrady. “That would be good,” he said. “I think that if he comes along, he could help our team. A player like him, with his experience and how he plays, I think it would help us.”
McGrady is scheduled to work out for the Bulls on Monday and if he is healthy, he could be an asset for the team.
Although last season after undegoing surgeries on his left knee, McGrady had just played 30 games, but Bulls is paying attention to what their star player has said and maybe they should reach out to offer McGrady a deal at the league’s veteran minimum.
Current Chicago roster this season have been upgraded with the addition of Carlos Boozer, Kyle Korver, Ronnie Brewer, C.J. Watson and Kurt Thomas.
