Kevin Durant lead all scorers with 28 points on a 10 out of 17 field goal, 6 for 6 from the foul line and six rebounds in 29 minutes powering the White team past the Blue team 114-96 at the USA Basketball Showcase Saturday night.
He was ably supported by Andre Iguodala with 17 points, going 5 of 6 from the field and making all three 3-point attempts.
Rudy Gay lead the Blue team with 23 points on a 7 of 11 from the field, including 3 of 4 from 3-point range.
Eric Gordon and Derrick Rose contributed 16 points and 15 points respectively for the White, which shot 55 percent from the field. The rest of the White team had their shares also with Stephen Curry adding 14 points while Tyson Chandler had 13 points and nine rebounds.
Tyreke Evans sat out with a sprained ankle.
By Monday, the current roster of 19 players will be trimmed down to 14 or 15 for the composition of the team for the world championship and the training camp begins in New York Aug. 10.
